Promising Ukrainian boxer Bohdan Sobol (15-0, 7 KOs) won a convincing show in Liepaja, Latvia. The 23-year-old native of Makiivka defeated French fighter Gaston Douet (9-5-2, 4 KOs).
Sobol seized the initiative from the first minutes of the fight and didn't give his opponent a chance. Already in the opening round, our compatriot knocked his opponent out. The same situation repeated itself in the 4th three minutes.
In the fifth round, Bogdan landed a left hook right in Douet's liver. Gaston "took a knee" and was unable to get up. The judge awarded the Ukrainian a technical knockout victory.
