The fight in Munich ended prematurely
Ukraine's Yehor Velikovsky (10-0, 6 KOs), who competes in the first heavyweight division, got his anniversary victory in the professional ring. The 22-year-old native of Mykolaiv defeated Venezuelan journeyman Omar Garcia (18-10, 15 KOs) at the boxing evening in Munich.
Our compatriot dominated in the ring and celebrated a well-deserved success. Velikovsky knocked out the opponent and the denouement came in the 8th round.
The South American missed a multi-strike combination, which was finished with a right straight to the jaw. The referee decided to stop the beating, awarding the Ukrainian the victory by technical knockout.
Velikovsky defeated Tomasz Adamek (29-21-2, 10 KOs) of the Czech Republic in his last fight in June last year. The meeting at the boxing evening in Germany ended prematurely.
