Ukraine's Mykhailo Kohan has become the European Youth Champion, which is held in Espoo, Finland. The 22-year-old native of Dnipro won the sector in the hammer throw with a score of 80.78 meters.

On July 13, Kohan won the qualification with a result of 76.16, and on July 15 he set a personal best result of the season, which allowed him to win the "gold" of Euro-2023.

For Kohan, this was his second victory at the U-23 continental championships. Our compatriot won his debut title in 2021 in Tallinn, Estonia.
