Dynamo Kyiv defeated LNZ Cherkasy in the 8th round of the Ukrainian Premier League football championship with a score of 4-2. The first-ever match between these teams in the UPL took place at the Central Stadium of Cherkasy.

Lucescu's team started the match successfully, opening the scoring in the 3rd minute. Brazhko saw that the home goalkeeper had left the left corner open and kicked the ball straight into the net from 35 meters.

LNZ managed to get back into the game after the break. Karavaev played with his hand in the penalty area. The referee, after having watched VAR, gave an 11-meter penalty. Boiko made the penalty kick.

In the 72nd minute, Yarmolenko brought the capital's club success again. The Dynamo veteran received a pass in the penalty area from Brazhko and was able to turn around and score.

Builalskyi scored the third goal from the penalty spot for Dynamo in the 78th minute.

In the remaining time, the guests attacked more but eventually conceded at the last minute. Priadun scored the goal.

The players did not stop there. In the very next attack, home players missed a quick counterattack, which was closed by Voloshyn.

In the standings, the White and Blues are in 4th place with 12 points. Dynamo has three games in hand.

Dynamo will play its next match against Oleksandriia on October 1.
