Girona's Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Tsyhankov had an unsuccessful start to the home match of the 6th round of the Spanish championship against Mallorca. The 25-year-old Ukrainian national team player earned a penalty kick in his own goal in the very opening minutes of the match.

In the 4th minute, Viktor played with his hand in the penalty area, for which an 11-meter penalty kick was announced. It was successfully realized by Vedat Muriqi.

The winning score for the guests did not last long. In the 26th minute, David Lopez restored the balance, and 7 minutes later another Ukrainian, Artem Dovbyk, scored the winning goal. The leader of the Ukrainian national team realized the penalty.

It should be noted that Girona managed to score twice before the break, making the score 4-1.

In the second half, the teams pleased the audience with three more missed goals. The final score was 5:3.
