Soccer players beat the referee during a match in Russia. Video

Cameroon native referee Georges Maxim was beaten in Chelyabinsk at a soccer match of the North-Western League (amateur division). The incident happened at the Bazhov - Katren match.
The referee removed the striker of Bazhov Tital Snjoyan. His 35-year-old brother Telman Snjoyan started shouting at the referee and then slapped him.
Maxim showed a red card to the aggressor as well, but that didn't stop the latter. Snjoyan grabbed the Cameroonian by the legs and threw him on the lawn. A scuffle broke out on the pitch, which the other participants of the fight tried to break up.
According to local media, both sides of the conflict were not seriously injured. The referee himself denied claims and did not comment on the incident.
