Rakitskyi's face smashed in a mass brawl at Shakhtar's UPL match
The end of the 29th round of the Ukrainian Premier League football championship match between Shakhtar and Dnipro-1 was marked by a mass brawl. The incident occurred in the second added minute of regular time.
With the score 3-0 in favour of the Miners, when the teams were about to go to the dressing room, Yehor Nazaryna went into a fierce tackle against the Brazilian legionnaire of Dnipro Peglow.
The 21-year-old attacker fell to the lawn like a man crippled, writhing in incredible pain, but the next moment he was completely healed, got up and started kicking the Ukrainian.
Other players from both teams joined in the scuffle, which led to a massive brawl on the pitch. Yaroslav Rakitskyi was particularly hurt, as his eyebrow was broken.
As a result of the fight, Monzul showed three yellow cards: Peglow, Nazaryna and Trubin.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Shakhtar beat Dnipro-1 3-0 to win the Ukrainian championship for the 14th time in its history.
