PSG suspends Messi
French football club PSG has decided to suspend its leader Lionel Messi for two weeks, RMC SPORT reports. The Argentine captain received this punishment for his trip to Saudi Arabia without permission.
According to the local press, the club considers this act of the Argentine to be a serious mistake. The Paris team refused to comment on the matter.
As a result, the Argentine will miss PSG's next two games in the French league: against Troyes this Sunday and against Ajaccio on Saturday, May 13.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Messi joined PSG for free in August 2021. During this time, Leo has played 71 matches in all competitions in the Parisian jersey, scoring 31 goals and providing 34 assists.
