Shakhtar Donetsk have signed 21-year-old Brazilian defender Azevedo Pereira, better known as Pedrinho. According to the official website, the contract runs until June 30, 2028.
Pedrinho is a pupil of Brazilian Vitoria. He made his debut for the main team in the 2020 season and played 35 matches. In September 2021 he moved to Atletico Paranaense, in which he played 69 matches for 2 incomplete years, becoming the club champion of the Paranaense League in 2023 together with the club.
Pedrinho was a main squad player for Atletico Paranaense in the 2023 season, appearing in 22 of the team's matches in all competitions.
