In Birobidzhan, players of the amateur hockey team "Tafgai", which consists of entrepreneurs, beat their opponents, who were a team of FSB officers. According to the Russian media, after that, six Tafgay hockey players were prosecuted under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on hooliganism by a group of persons by prior conspiracy related to resistance to a representative of the authorities.

"For hockey, the situation is quite playful and familiar. Only instead of the usual five-minute penalty for such stories, some players were imprisoned in a pre-trial detention center," Newsbox24.tv writes.

The tournament took place in the spring. After the competition, five Tafgay players were arrested for 15 days and fined, and the tournament organizers rushed to announce the disqualification of the hockey players, Baza writes. In July, a real criminal case was opened against the hockey players. They face up to seven years in prison.

On September 30, the court will make a decision as the suspects are arrested.
