Dynamo wins the first victory after Lucescu's departure
Dynamo Kyiv defeated Kryvbas in the 14th round of the Ukrainian Premier League football championship. The match at the Hirnyk Stadium ended with a score of 0:2.
The Kyiv team's coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, who replaced Lucescu, started the match with some uncertainty. Kryvbas successfully organized high pressure, pressing the visitors to the goal. However, the first counterattack of the "white and blues" in the 8th minute was effective.
Tymchyk made a pass to the back, Denys Kuzyk tried to save the situation, but Vanat was able to make a good shot under the bar.
After 4 minutes, the match lost its intrigue when Danylo Bezkorovainyi received a red card for a foul on Vanat.
In the 27th minute, Oleksandr Karavaiev, demonstrating perfect technique, destroyed all questions about the winner.
After this victory, Dynamo gained 19 points and moved up to 8th place. The capital's club has three games in hand. Kryvbas remain in 2nd place.
