The Basketball Federation Executive Committee has approved changes to the regulations of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship among men's teams in Division A (Super League) for the 2023/2024 season.

The competition will be held in two stages. In the first stage, the teams will play four rounds according to the round-robin calendar system (in the bubble format). In the second stage, a playoff system is planned.

The format of the playoffs should be determined by the start of the third round of the championship, depending on the situation in the country with martial law.

It was decided to leave the format of the competition in Division B (Major League) unchanged - a three-round competition. In the first stage, the teams will be divided into groups on a regional basis, in the second stage, the top eight teams will form two quartets of 4 teams, which will determine the participants of the third stage in a round-robin tournament.

In the third stage, four teams will play for the final places in the bubble format in two rounds, taking into account the points of the second stage in games between them.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the final round of the 3x3 Basketball Cup of Ukraine will take place in Kyiv on 10-11 June.
