An explosion occurred in the Lubny Raion of Poltava region, sending a column of fire and smoke into the sky. Preliminarily, there was a depressurization on the main gas pipeline.
Rescuers are already working at the scene. The head of the Poltava Regional Gas Supply Company, Dmytro Lunin, reported the incident on Telegram (scroll to the end of the news to watch the video).
It is worth noting that the explosion occurred at a time when an air raid alert was sounded in the region. OBOZREVATEL has learned from its own sources that, according to preliminary data as of 14:00, there is no information about injuries and deaths.
Local Telegram channels reported that gas residues were burning at the site of the explosion. Rescuers are eliminating the burning of dry grass. The situation is under control.
