Zelenskyy in The Hague: I'm here to bring bad news to Russians

Zelenskyy sends "greetings" to Russians from The Hague

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while on a working trip to The Hague, said "hello" to the Russians. He noted that he had arrived in the Netherlands to bring bad news to the citizens of the aggressor country.

The politician said this during a press conference with the heads of government of Belgium and the Netherlands, which was broadcast by the press service of his office. He noted that he would not leave friendly countries without concrete results aimed at strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the overall security of Ukraine (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

"I always leave my country for a short time because it is necessary, not because I want to. In order to bring some bad news for the Russians, I am now in The Hague, yesterday I was in Finland. We are close to justice," the President said.

Recall that on May 4, Zelenskyy is on an official visit to the Netherlands. The head of state arrived at the Senate of the General States in The Hague, where he delivered a speech. The president also spoke at the International Criminal Court.

"Please remember the Ukrainians who could be alive today if not for this aggression. If not for the war, which we did not want, which we want to make the last war in the world, and we will do it," the leader of the Ukrainian nation called on friendly states.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the Netherlands is aware of the need for F-16 fighter jets for the Ukrainian Defence Forces, so the government is actively negotiating with European partners to transfer them. Prime Minister Mark Rutte compared this issue to the supply of Leopard tanks, which was also discussed for a long time in Western circles, but eventually ended successfully for Kyiv.
