Zelensky: it is a war for freedom for us, a challenge to the values of any nation
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed students in Argentina. He said that it is a war for freedom for us and a challenge to the values of any nation.
The head of state published a corresponding video on Telegram. He stressed that Ukrainians never wanted this war.
"We did not go to the land of any other people. That was Russia coming to our land, burning our cities, killing and deporting our people. It is a war for freedom for us, and so we fight no matter what and will not give up our freedom," Zelensky emphasized.
According to him, no one in the world should be left alone with such an enemy who makes large-scale ecocide and threatens a radiation catastrophe with his weapon.
"This is a challenge to the values of any nation, any culture, any country. That is why we need your help so badly. The peoples and nations of Latin America can do so much to defend freedom and every people's right to liberty! And it does not even require a direct intervention in the ongoing war. It is enough to defend freedom. Defend it not only in their own countries for their own people, but globally, including at the level of international institutions, at summits. And we must condemn the enemies of freedom. Whoever they are and whatever people they are trying to enslave. We must act in defence of freedom! All together. For Argentina, for Latin America, for the whole world," Zelensky.summed up.
As OBOZREVATEL reported earlier, Zelensky urged the civilized world to closely monitor the actions of the occupiers at ZNPP. The head of state stressed that "the only source of danger for ZNPP is Russia." The President made this statement after he made public the data of the military intelligence of Ukraine about the probabiliby of mining plant by Russian occupants and signals about Russians preparing a nuclear terrorist act at Zaporizhzhia NPP.
