Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom made this speech at a prayer service in London. The video was posted on Facebook by volunteer Roman Bochkala.
"Three years ago, the world changed completely, Russia came to us to erase Ukraine, but we survived. We are fighting and will continue to do so. Every day of this war is a feat of the Ukrainian people, our soldiers who hold the front in extremely difficult conditions, our doctors who save lives, mothers who are waiting for their sons and daughters to come home, and our children who grow up in war," the former commander-in-chief emphasized.
He emphasized that Ukraine has lost a lot, but it is a nation that will never kneel again.
"Ukraine is not just a land. It is a people. Ukraine will never kneel again. We will win. Because the truth is with us!" said Zaluzhnyi.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom expressed his gratitude to the military and the Ukrainian people for their resilience. At the same time, he said that international support from allies is very important, particularly from the UK.
"We thank our allies. We thank the UK for its support. And we thank the Ukrainians for your strength, for your faith, for your love for your homeland," Zaluzhnyi summarized.
As a reminder, on February 24, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy remembered the Heroes who gave their lives defending their native Ukraine and thanked the military and concerned citizens who helped the state and stood up for its defense.
