"Only a Ukrainian victory will bring back security": Zelensky reacted to the occupiers' bombing of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the occupiers' bombing of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant as another terrorist act on the part of Russia. He said that only victory in the war would help to prevent the Russian evil and return security to Ukrainians.

The head of state pointed this out in his morning address on June 6. Before that, he called an urgent meeting of the National Security and Defence Council.

According to Zelensky, the Russian terrorists, by destroying the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant dam, only confirm to the whole world that they must be kicked out of every corner of the Ukrainian land.

He stressed that they must not leave a single meter of our territory, because they will use each of them for terror.

"Only a Ukrainian victory will bring back security. And that victory will come. Neither water, nor missiles, nor anything else will the terrorists be able to stop Ukraine," the president assured.

He also added that all services are working on solving all the issues related to the blowing up of the hydroelectric power plant. He called a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). Ukrainians were urged to disseminate and trust only official and verified information.

We would like to add: the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak called the actions of Russian terrorists ecocide. According to him, they threaten the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

This was confirmed by the company Energoatom. They explained that the situation threatens safe operation of the plant, because the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir, which is used to cool the reactors, is rapidly declining.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, the UN made a post about Russian Language Day after the occupants blew up the Kakhovka HPP. It is noteworthy that the organization did not even mention the disaster in Ukraine.
