Square of Ukrainian Heroes is a square in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, Nova Zastroika neighborhood. It was built between Shuliavska and Velyka Vasylkivska streets in the second half of the nineteenth century. In the 1880s and 1890s, the square was known unofficially as Shuliavska. This name was derived from Shuliavska Street, which in 1891 was renamed Karavaievska in honor of the scientist and physician Volodymyr Karavaiev. Some time after the street was renamed again. The square was also called Karavaievska.

The current name in honor of Ukrainian Heroes has been in place since 2023.
