Reaching the striking age of 100 may seem like a daunting task. However, according to one expert, it may become more likely with certain lifestyle changes.
Dan Buettner, 64, has spent years studying communities in blue zones, where people are much more likely to reach 100 years of age. One of the conclusions he came to was about eating the right kind of breakfast. He wrote about this in his TikTok post (@danbuettner).
According to him, breakfast should include not eggs with bacon or oatmeal but, unexpectedly, soup. And not just any soup, but minestrone.
This is thick Italian soup that usually includes beans, green beans, tomatoes, onions, and several other vegetables. Beans are not only rich in protein, but also contain an impressive fiber content that can potentially help you lose weight and regulate blood sugar.
According to him, if you supplement your breakfast with black coffee, you will have every chance to live a long and happy life. Buettner also noted that during his research, he noticed that good relationship with family members also has a very positive impact on the possibility of a long life. All of this can be called a key to happy existence.
