Toyota plans to bring back a low-cost sports car model with a striking design. The manufacturer has been teasing fans, and now a concept design has appeared that hints at the main element of the car.
Almost 20 years ago, the Toyota MR2 compact sports model was removed from the lineup, and now a revival is being prepared. According to Carscoops, the new Toyota car may get a very interesting powerplant.
The new Toyota G20E engine is a high-performance 2 liter four-cylinder gasoline unit. Its capabilities allow boosting up to 600 hp.
The concept design showed a possible look of the Toyota FT-Se, a compact sports car.

Now it is expected that the new 4th generation Toyota MR2 will receive one of the modifications. An all-wheel drive transmission is also possible.
