The inexpensive Japanese sedan Subaru Legacy has a long history of a bright life, which, unfortunately, is coming to an end. The Toyota Camry could have gotten a new rival if Subaru had planned the next generation of the model. And recently a concept design that shows what it could have looked like appeared online.

The company has abandoned the Subaru Legacy model, but TALK WHEELS decided to try to depict the possible appearance of the new 8th generation Subaru Legacy anyway.

The main reason for the halt of production in 2025 is low sales of the Subaru Legacy. In the United States, the key market for the model, 25,000 cars are sold a year. This is not enough for the manufacturer. After all, this sedan used to be much more popular. Today, many such cars are losing customers.

Earlier, the company showed the updated Subaru Legacy. The Limited trim is now equipped with a power moonroof, heated steering wheel and an 11.6-inch infotainment screen with GPS navigation, a premium Harman Kardon audio system and DriverFocus driver monitoring system.

As always, the model comes with an all-wheel drive transmission even in the basic version. The price of Subaru Legacy in this version is $24,895.
