VW's most affordable electric car made more powerful and put on sale
The new Volkswagen ID.3 GTX with a long range has been officially unveiled as the top and most powerful modification of VW's most affordable electric car. The car has also received a new design to differentiate itself from the standard model.
The car was shown on the Volkswagen website. It was speculated that the novelty may get a different name. Volkswagen's sporty hatchbacks are known worldwide under the GTI label. However, on the most powerful electric cars, the company has been using the GTX nameplate for some time. As a result, the new ID.3 has just received such an index.
There are obvious differences in the design of the model in comparison with the standard car. There is a new dodger - replaced the front and rear bumpers, sill plates under the doors. These elements received more complex plastic.

There are new oversized wheel rims. All this helps the hatchback look more aggressive.
The powertrain has received a power of 286 or 326 hp, depending on the version. This will allow the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.9 and 5.7 seconds respectively. The range is equal to 600 kilometers. The price of the VW ID.3 GTX is from 50,795 euros. However, thanks to subsidies, the cost falls below 50 thousand.
