The new model is known under the name VW Project 246. This is not a commercial name - the car will go on sale with the "real" name.
According to insiders, the design will be inspired by the looks of the larger 3rd generation Volkswagen Tiguan. This car was presented just recently.
The estimated power of the turbocharged 1 liter engine is up to 120 hp. The closest relative of the car may become a new budget crossover Skoda Kylaq with a body length of up to 4 meters, which is also being prepared for the premiere.
