Volkswagen showed a rival to the Renault Duster with a huge trunk
The Volkswagen Taigun budget crossover is an inexpensive rival to the Renault Duster in the usual format. The car has now received an unusual modification with a huge trunk.
The new Volkswagen Taigun Pickup is shown by Carscoops. VW and Skoda prepared this car together with students to showcase the talents of young professionals. Even though the power structure of the body has not changed, a large cargo platform has grown at the rear.
The model has also recently received the Volkswagen GT Edge Trail modification, which has a different stylistic design. The compact crossover has new stickers on the body, and the wheels have a new design of 17-inch wheels. There are three body colors to choose from: white, gray, and silver.

The interior of the VW Taigun GT Edge Trail has been redesigned. Bright accents and logos of the special version have appeared.
Nothing new has happened in the technical department. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an output of 150 hp (250 Nm of torque), which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The drive is front-wheel drive only.
The price of the Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Trail is $19,588. The new VW Taigun pickup will not go on sale, it is a one-time project.
