Volkswagen Polo turned into an inexpensive crossover: photos and price

The new Volkswagen Nivus for the 2025 model year was shown in official photos. A few years ago, the VW Polo was transformed into this crossover, which has now been restyled. This is a planned modernization.

Details are reported by Carscoops. The VW Nivus crossover has received standard changes: there are different bumpers, new headlights and lights, changed wheels and a color palette. Buyers will be offered engines with a capacity of 95, 110 and 150 hp.

The price of the Volkswagen Nivus 2025 is about $24,000. The same platform is used not only by the VW Polo hatchback, but also by the VW Virtus (the successor to the Volkswagen Polo sedan) and the VW T-Cross compact crossover.

The company is preparing another novelty – its cheapest crossover for one of the most popular segments. Volkswagen's budget car is expected to be officially unveiled with a completely new design in the German brand's corporate identity in 2025. It is known that the new model will be smaller and cheaper than the VW T-Cross.

The new model is still known under the codename Project VW 246. In fact, the Dacia Sandero Stepway and Renault Kardian will be launched with a five-passenger cabin.
