Ukrainians have significantly increased their purchases of used cars with gasoline engines. In 2024, more than 105.3 thousand such cars were purchased, which is 9% more than in 2023. The most popular model was the VOLKSWAGEN Golf, with 7,219 units purchased. In Ukraine, you can buy one for $2,500 or $35,000.

Ukravtoprom reports sales growth. It is noted that the share of gasoline-powered cars in total passenger car sales has also increased. While in 2023 they covered 45% of the new car market, now it is 47%.

In general, VOLKSWAGEN Golf was the most popular among new models, with 7,219 units purchased. The top 5 also included:

• AUDI Q5 - 4,578 cars;
• VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan - 4,414 cars;
• NISSAN Rogue - 4,042 cars;
• RENAULT Megane - 3,922 cars.

How much do the most popular used cars among Ukrainians cost?

In Ukraine, the price of the most popular used car - VOLKSWAGEN Golf - depends on a number of parameters. In particular, the condition, mileage, etc. For example:

• a car that was involved in an accident in 2007 for $2,500;

• a 2019 car with 21 thousand kilometers of mileage is sold for $35,000.
