Sales statistics have dropped. Source: Renault
The new car market in Ukraine has been seemingly booming recently. However, according to the results of September, it collapsed. It, as always, is dominated by inexpensive cars. And the leader again became a well-known cheap model.
In September 2024, according to the statistics of Ukravtoprom, it amounted to 5.7 thousand copies. Almost all automakers in the ranking offer mostly affordable cars.
The market fell by 30% compared to the previous month. Although there is growth at a margin of error (+0.1%) relative to September 2023.
The most popular cars in Ukraine:
- Toyota (840 pcs)
- Renault (541 pcs)
- Skoda (443 pcs)
- BMW (433 pcs)
- Volkswagen (336 pcs)
The leaders are well-known manufacturers of affordable models. Inexpensive cars dominate the ranking. As always, they are in high demand among our buyers, but BMW stands out. This is the only company among the leaders that offers quite expensive premium cars.
The market leader is the budget crossover Renault Duster. The French automaker sold such 504 copies among the total number of 541 pcs. of its cars in September.
