UAVs attack oil depot in Rostov region: fire breaks out, with black smoke billowing
Around 04:00 on July 13, an oil depot in the Tsimlyansky District of the Rostov region of Russia was attacked by drones. As a result of the hits, a fire broke out, which was assigned rank 3, and black smoke rose into the sky.
It was reported by the governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, on Telegram. He assured that there were no deaths or injuries. The Russians engaged 49 people and 14 pieces of equipment to fight the fire.
According to Russian media, the wreckage of the drone shot down by air defense fell on the territory of the enterprise, which stores AI-92, AI-95 and diesel fuel.
According to eyewitnesses, there was one explosion around 4 a.m., after which they noticed a column of smoke coming from the tank farm.
