The low-cost Toyota Prius model is ready to enter the market in 2025. This is an economical model of the manufacturer, which once popularized affordable hybrids. The cost of the car has now been revealed.
According to Carscoops, the price of the Toyota Prius will start at $28,350 in 2025. Interestingly, the car recently set a record for efficiency. The new Toyota Prius crossed the US from the East to the West Coast. The Toyota hybrid covered more than 5,000 km with an average fuel consumption of 2.5 l/100 km. This achievement was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
Prius has other achievements. In a competition at the New York Auto Show, professional designers selected the finalists from 70 applicants for the Best Design nomination. The jury then selected the winner, which was the Toyota Prius.
Also in 2024, the new-generation Prius was named the best car of the year in the United States as part of the prestigious North American Car of the Year (NACTOY) competition. Experts liked the hybrid for its striking design and efficient powertrain.
At the end of 2023, the economical model was named the best car in Japan. At the same time, the hybrid went far ahead of its rivals in the Japan Car of the Year competition.
