The long-awaited affordable Toyota Land Cruiser FJ SUV is being prepared for its premiere. The inexpensive SUV was shown online with a striking design in the style of another model.
The premiere is expected to take place in late 2024 or early 2025. The new Toyota FJ SUV will be the most affordable model in the Land Cruiser lineup. TALK WHEELS shows the spectacular design of the model, an amateur project made in the style of the Toyota FJ Cruiser.
This is no accident. The car will be the successor to the Toyota FJ Cruiser, which was discontinued about 10 years ago. The small Toyota Land Cruiser is expected to hit the market in 2025.
The novelty may receive a hybrid version based on a diesel engine. This specification has already been announced for the Toyota Hilux pickup truck. It is based on a 2.8-liter engine. The output is 204 hp. But this option will not be the only one.
Insiders report that the new vehicle will also receive a 2.7-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 166 hp. The appearance of a fully electric SUV is not ruled out, but there is no data on this yet.
The projected price of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is about $ 30,000 for the base variant, which is comparable to the compact crossover RAV4.
