The youngest participants who took the National Multisubjects Test (NMT) in 2024 were 14 years old, and there were only two of them. One applicant decided to take the test at the age of 70 and became the oldest on the list.
These data are reported in the official report of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UCEQA). The largest number of registered entrants was 148,045 at the age of 17, 77332 at the age of 18, and 14,867 at the age of 19. Also, 12 applicants took the exam at the age of 15 and 1200 at the age of 16.
1080 applicants decided to take the test at the age of 50 to 65. In particular, there were 236 50-year-olds, and two 60- and 65-year-olds each. The UCEQA did not disclose the personal data of the participants, so it is currently unknown who these applicants are.
As a reminder, the participants of the NMT-2024 received the highest average score in German – 152 out of 200 possible. At the same time, this year's applicants did the worst in math. Students had only 132.5 points in this subject. According to the report, the highest scores were in foreign languages: English – 149.1, Spanish – 148.7, and French – 148.6. The fifth best language was Ukrainian, with 146.8 points.
According to the UCEQA, most of the participants of the NMT-2024 chose English as an additional subject (38.5%), while the least chose physics (2.8%) and chemistry (1.13%).
