If the problems with Poland at the border are not resolved, the government will protect Ukrainian business. At the same time, it is important for the state to maintain the alliance with the neighboring country.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in response to a question from OBOZ.UA editor-in-chief Lesia Gasych during the forum. He added that he has a working relationship with representatives of the Polish government.
"Tusk and I have a working relationship. We recently met with Duda. Now you can make up your own mind. I had a meeting with Ursula von der Leyen... Our society and some media criticized us for this approach. I said that any elections in Poland would not change this vector. There is an internal struggle in Poland.
I am grateful to the Polish society that is with Ukrainians. I would not like the border between us to be a border between societies... It is unfair to use Ukraine as pressure on European institutions... It is very important for us to preserve the alliance with Poland. If no steps are found, we will protect our business," the president said.
