The inexpensive VW Tiguan crossover for the 2025 model year has been officially declassified as a rival to the Toyota RAV4. But the German car can offer more practicality thanks to its extended wheelbase.

The manufacturer officially showed the model in the photo. According to Carscoops, the car will soon make its live debut. This is the new Volkswagen Tiguan for the United States, and it is different from the European one.

This is a kind of mixture with the VW Tayron (seven-seater modification) – this car inherited the front end and wheelbase (2791 mm), which provides a spacious interior and a spacious trunk (885 liters). But the interior has only five seats.

The powerplant still produces 204 hp. Modifications with front and all-wheel drive are available. In the future, the range may be expanded with other options.

The base price is expected to be around $30,000. The current VW Tiguan in the United States costs at least $28,000.
