The price is impressive: the world's fastest armored car has been created in the USA
Armored vehicles come in many shapes and sizes. These vehicles are regularly used to protect heads of state and dignitaries. The US Army Group has created the custom Lucid Air Sapphire, which they call "the world's fastest armored vehicle".
The Lucid Air Sapphire shows incredible results with a factory output of 1234 horsepower and acceleration to 100 km/h in just 1.89 seconds. More details about the fastest armored car were told by Motor1.

In addition to its impressive speed, Lucid has many safety advantages. Instead of glass, the car has lightweight laminated transparent armor that can stop a gunshot. A lightweight composite material reinforces the doors and body panels – experts say it is ten times stronger and five times lighter than ballistic steel.
Other security features can be added:
- electric shock door handles;
- pepper sprayers;
- holes for weapons;
- a protective system for detecting poisonous gases;
- stronger armor that can stop powerful rifles and explosives.

But the upgrades don't stop there. US Armor Group is reinforcing the interior with an "impenetrable" WiFi package to protect against hackers and a scanning system. The security system has quick access to the local police and fire department. There is even an access point that instantly connects to US Armor Group.

Of course, this additional protection is not cheap. The Lucid Air Sapphire costs $250,500, and the US Armor Group asks $475,000 for its armored Air.
