The new Subaru Forester is designed for absolute off-road: how the hybrid was modernized
The Subaru Forester crossover is preferred by drivers who value power and reliability in their cars. But very soon, the sixth generation of the model will be launched, which will radically change the way people think about it.
According to Top Gear magazine, the updated Forester has a fresh look, a slightly redesigned interior, and, probably, no less impressive off-road performance. All thanks to the atmospheric, mild hybrid opposed four-cylinder engine and Lineatronic transmission.
Despite minor design changes, the Forester remains true to Subaru's styling.

Specific data on technical characteristics have not yet been provided, but journalists assume that they will not differ much from the current 148 hp and 193 N-m of torque. Yes, these are not the highest characteristics, but even with them, the Subaru Forester is considered one of the best models in its class.
Its capabilities will be further supported by off-road systems, which include improved versions of the "X" driving mode and hill descent control. With a maximum ground clearance of 220 mm and a towing capacity of 1870 kg, the Subaru Forester will provide confident driving on almost any terrain.
The model's interior has also been updated.

In terms of design, the new Forster gets a more square front end with a thin light bar that now connects both headlights, a glossy new grille with additional components, and redesigned fog lights. The developers used a similar approach on the other side, where they placed another light bar under a small square wing. The rest of the exterior, however, still looks typical of Subaru: massive tires, a lot of strong underbody cladding, and creases right along the side profile.
There has also been a slight update to the safety package, which now includes an improved emergency stop system that will respond more quickly to dangerous situations. The new Subaru Forester is expected to go on sale in the spring.
