The new Mazda CX-5 will compete with popular inexpensive crossovers like the Toyota RAV4 and Subaru Forester. The car with a bright design and modern equipment is preparing for a generational change.
According to Carscoops, the premiere of the 3rd generation Mazda CX-5 model was announced in 2025-2027. Information about a hybrid powertrain has been officially confirmed.
In addition, a new Skyactiv-Z engine will be added to the lineup. These engines will provide reduced fuel consumption and more efficient operation.
The Mazda CX-5 crossover will soon get a successor.

Work on the car is already underway. But there is no information about the design yet. However, Mazda models have a very distinctive appearance, so the new crossover will probably use well-known branded elements.
The crossover segment seems to be dimensionless. And Mazda's success in this area has shown that such models can be brought to market almost endlessly. The compact Mazda CX-30 and CX-50 models are in demand.
