The long-awaited low-cost crossover Renault 4 EV is ready for premiere. Very soon this model will be presented officially along with other novelties.

Details have become known to Motor1. Several French premieres will take place within the framework of the Paris Motor Show, which will start in October 2024. The focus will be on affordable cars.

The design of the Renault 4 EV has already been shown more than once. At the front, there is a laconic glossy black panel and neat headlights. Also, probably, the cheap electric car will get unpainted plastic parts on the bumpers, which will emphasize its off-road character. But it will still be a compact city crossover with a body length of 4.2 meters.

The silhouette of the model refers to the famous classic Renault 4L hatchback of the 1960s. Exact specifications are not yet available. But the company has previously hinted at a range of about 400 km. Also planned in the lineup is a van in the role of a light commercial vehicle.

And that's not all. The second novelty belongs to Dacia. Exact information about it was not provided. But it is expected to be a family crossover Dacia Bigster. The low-cost car will be larger than the Duster 3 generation and will be able to accommodate seven people in the cabin. Also Renault is preparing a couple of concepts and the successor of the budget electric car Twizy.
