The new Citroen C5 Aircross crossover for the 2026 model year will be a rival to the Toyota RAV4 and other low-cost crossovers in the popular segment. While the model is being prepared for the premiere, it has been completely declassified online.
Thanks to Motor.es, it became known what the French crossover will look like. The car was shown online in the first images in the production version. These are patent images that reflect the finished design.
The car is based on a concept that was officially shown at the Paris Motor Show. The production model will almost completely match it.
The appearance of the car was greatly influenced by the younger Citroen C3 model. At the same time, the new model does not look like its predecessor, which is now offered to customers. The car will also become larger.
The 2nd generation Citroen C5 Aircross crossover will be the closest relative of the new Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland. Thus, the C5 Aircross lineup will include hybrids (136-195 hp) and all-electric powertrains.
Electric vehicles will be offered in several modifications (210 hp, 73 kWh battery, 525 km range; 320 hp, 73 kWh, 525 km; 230 hp, 98 kWh, 700 km).
