The Estonian biathlete ended the World Championships with the phrase "Glory to Ukraine". Video
Estonian biathlete Johanna Talihärm has expressed her support for Ukraine after her team's historic World Championship relay race. The 30-year-old native of Tallinn, who, together with her teammates, took a sensational fourth place, expressed her admiration for our country, which continues to fight against Russia's military aggression.
In a conversation with a journalist on the Champion portal, Talihärm called the result of the relay at the World Championships simply fantastic. "It was crazy! Our skis rolled very well on the track and the girls performed very well on the first three laps! As for me, I wasn't nervous: I tried not to waste my energy on worrying, I tried to turn my emotions into the fact that this is a historic day for us - we are leading the World Cup in the relay!" said the Estonian biathlete.
Taliharm, for whom the relay was her last race at the World Championships, ended her commentary with a patriotic cry of "Glory to Ukraine!" Interestingly, the Blue and Yellows finished behind the Estonian team, taking fifth place.
