Chinese manufacturer BYD has shown an inexpensive electric crossover Tang EV. For the new model year, the car's range has been increased.

CarNewsChina reports about the car. The new BYD Tang EV has changed very little in appearance. The manufacturer has prepared new 20-inch wheels and minor cosmetic improvements.

The electric crossover is large. The body length is 4900 mm with a wheelbase of 2820 mm, width is 1950 mm, and height is 1725 mm. Weight, depending on the configuration, ranges from 2360 to 2560 kg.

The spacious interior offers six or seven seats in different configurations.

The Chinese electric crossover is offered with several powertrains. The standard version has a 225 hp (350 Nm of torque) engine. The top version offers 510 hp (700 Nm of torque).

The range of the cheapest BYD Tang E is now 600 km. The most advanced modification can cover up to 730 km on a single charge. Of course, this is the official data of the Chinese automaker, so the actual figures are about 1.5 times lower.
