The new 3rd generation Mercedes CLA will be the cheapest sedan of the German company. The 2026 model year car was shown online before the official premiere.
Officially, the appearance of the Mercedes CLA 2026 model is still classified, but Carscoops has prepared its own design version based on the style of the harbinger concept and pre-production prototypes. The car will reportedly be equipped with a Chinese engine.
The interior of the Mercedes CLA is expected to have a huge central monitor of the modern MBUX infotainment system, which will be powered by artificial intelligence.
It is known that the new Mercedes-Benz CLA based on the MMA platform will receive a full range of powerplants. Earlier it was reported that the car will be offered in gasoline, diesel, hybrid and all-electric versions. At the same time, the specification will include a 2-liter engine developed by Geely in collaboration with Renault.
Thanks to the use of the modern Mercedes Modular Architecture, the next CLA will be the first to receive an all-electric powertrain in addition to the range of internal combustion engine variants. The premiere is expected by the end of 2024 or early 2025.
