The "birds" are already on their way to the 47th Brigade fighting near Avdiivka: Klychko showed FPV-drones purchased for the AFU
100 FPV drones ordered by Mayor Vitaliy Klychko and his brother Volodymyr have arrived in Kyiv. Today, on December 19, the "birds" will be sent to the 47th Brigade near Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
The mayor of Kyiv announced this on his Telegram channel. Support for Ukraine's defenders does not stop.
"We have received 100 FPV drones that we ordered together with my brother. Volodymyr bought them. Today, the drones arrived in Kyiv and are on their way to the 47th Brigade near Avdiivka. The guys are waiting for them. And we are waiting for the next few batches of UAVs to arrive," Klychko said.
The mayor of Kyiv reminded that in 2023, Kyiv allocated more than UAH 1 billion from the city budget to meet the requests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to purchase drones.
Earlier, the mayor stated that the parliament had effectively deprived local authorities of the opportunity to help the Armed Forces and direct funds from city budgets to our defenders. By taking away the personal income tax, the MPs and the government demonstrate that the central government has failed to finance the army.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Kyiv has prepared a draft city budget for the next year and, despite the military personal income tax being taken away, will continue to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, in 2024, the capital will allocate another billion hryvnias to our soldiers.
