Experts have named the best cars of 2025 as part of the European Car of the Year finalists. Interestingly, the list includes mostly inexpensive models.
The list of seven finalists includes a lot of crossovers - buyers are very fond of such cars, it is a popular format. There are also several electric cars. In addition, hybrid modifications are offered for the finalists. The details are published on the website of the annual Car of the Year 2025 competition.
The best cars of 2025 are the Car of the Year finalists:
- Alfa Romeo Junior;
- Citroen C3/Citroen e-C3;
- Cupra Terramar;
- Dacia Duster;
- Hyundai Inster;
- Kia EV3;
- Renault 5/Alpine A290.
It is noticeable that this time the jury is particularly insistent on electrified models, which dominate the list. Over time, such cars have become more affordable, which is reflected in the finalists.
These are the finalists of the competition, which were chosen as the best cars of the year. It remains to choose the winner among them, who will be announced on February 10, 2025.
