Tesla's cheapest crossover faces criticism despite successful launch

Stas SidilevNews
Tesla Model Y

The new Tesla Model Y Juniper is the company's most affordable crossover in 2025. This long-awaited car has already caused a splash in the market after the modernization, but then a wave of criticism.

Earlier, it was reported that on the first day after the debut, the Tesla Model Y Juniper 2025 crossover received 50,000 orders. According to Motor1, the total number of orders then reached 70,000 in five days. Despite the success, there was also room for criticism.

Both potential buyers and current owners of Tesla electric cars note that Elon Musk's odious behavior have made people turn away from the company. Even loyal fans of the brand who no longer want to be associated with Tesla say so.

After the restyling, the front of the crossover looks like a Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck, while its rear resembles its closest relative, the Tesla Model 3.

The interior trim has also changed. However, it is not yet known whether the quality meets the highest industry standards. The power of the 2025 Tesla Model Y engines is 299-450 hp and the range is about 450-550 km. The price of the Tesla Model Y starts from $ 39,950.
