Supports Putin and war and cooperated with traitor Oksana Marchenko: Ukrainian Foreign Ministry shamed HBO for choosing actor Miloš Biković
The new third season of White Lotus is to feature a new actor, Serbian Miloš Biković, who has been the subject of a scandal. The HBO streaming platform, which will be filming the series, was heavily criticized by fans for the poor casting, and even the Ukrainian ministry joined the movement.
When inviting him, HBO overlooked the fact that the actor actively supports Russia in the war against Ukraine, which was pointed out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on social media.
"Miloš Biković, a Serbian actor who has been supporting Russia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, is now going to play the lead role in season 3 of HBO's White Lotus. HBO, is it okay for you to work with a person who supports genocide and violates international law?" the Foreign Ministry tweeted.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attached a video to its tweet, which provided evidence of Biković's active support for Russian politics. This includes a meeting with Putin, being awarded Russian medals for culture, appearing in Russian shows, and even holding a passport of the occupying country.
"Russia has accepted me since my first visit here. I feel at home here. I have inherited Russian values and they resonate with mine," Miloš Biković was quoted in the video.
Biković even appeared in the TV series Pilgrimage by traitor Oksana Marchenko, who is known to Ukrainians as the heroine of the memes and the wife of Viktor Medvedchuk, who is accused of treason.
He also previously traveled to the occupied Crimea and claimed that Russians live there and that the locals voted to join their eastern neighbor in an illegal referendum voluntarily.
