Subaru's long-awaited Toyota RAV4 rival revealed in new photos
The new 6th generation Subaru Forester is a long-awaited crossover. The car has already joined the segment of low-cost SUVs and proved to be a strong rival to the Toyota RAV4. The inexpensive model was shown in new photos just after the lineup was significantly expanded.
As OBOZ.UA reminds, the Subaru Forester Wilderness crossover for the 2026 model year was recently officially declassified. This is a special version of the popular model, which was prepared for off-road use with special tires and increased ground clearance.
The 2025 Subaru Forester hybrid was also presented. Customers will like the model, as the demand for hybrids is growing. The Subaru Forester hybrid looks no different from the standard version. It has the same geometric design with large elements that has attracted a lot of attention with the change of generations of the famous crossover.

At the heart of the design is a 2.5-liter internal combustion engine and an electric motor with a battery. Total output is 194 hp. Combined fuel consumption is 6.7 l/100 km.

The new Forester 2025 went on sale with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with 180 hp in the standard variant. All versions of the model are equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission.
