The popular budget crossover Skoda Karoq will soon get a successor in the form of a completely different model. The old car will be discontinued and replaced by the Skoda Elroq. The manufacturer has provided new details.
This was reported by Carscoops. The car will offer a new powertrain and a very practical spacious interior. It is said that the interior of the Skoda Elroq 2025 model year will have a special finish.
These are Recytitan and Technofil materials. This is a finish made from recycled water bottles, old fishing nets and used clothes. This is in full compliance with the environmental focus of the new Skoda model.
The Elroq electric car with a length of about 4.5 m will have a spacious interior and wide functionality. Several variants are expected: with power from 168 to 295 hp and a range of up to 560 km.
In the Czech automaker's lineup, the new model will be below the Skoda Enyaq electric crossover and will be more affordable. This model will also be updated in the near future. Thus, the company emphasizes the electric future of its model line.
