Shopping centers, schools, colleges, and universities in the Belgorod region of Russia will be suspended in the coming days due to shelling. Parents whose children go to kindergartens are also asked to leave them at home.
This was announced by the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov. He said that such measures are necessary due to the difficult situation in Belgorod and the region due to constant shelling and danger.
"Given the current situation, we have decided that shopping centers in Belgorod and Belgorod district will not work on Sunday and Monday.
As for the work of schools and colleges. Monday and Tuesday are days off. Now let's see how to find the exact wording from the point of view of the law. The most important thing is that there will be no classes in schools on Monday and Tuesday, including remote classes. The decision applies to the Belgorod, Borisov, Volokov, Krasnoyaruzsky districts, Graivoronsky, Valuysky, Shebekinsky, and Yakovlevsky urban districts, as well as the city of Belgorod. We will recommend this decision to our universities as well," Gladkov said.
He also asked parents who bring their children to regular kindergarten classes to leave their children at home on Monday and Tuesday if possible.
"If this is not possible, then we will help parents if they work in critical professions. Understandably, teachers, nannies, and technical staff are worried. The situation is quite difficult both in the city and in the Belgorod district. Of course, safety is the most important issue for all of us," Gladkov said.
Earlier it was reported that volunteers from the Russian Volunteer Corps ridiculed the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry about "1,500 terrorist casualties," of which about 500 people were allegedly killed by Russian soldiers. They responded to the lie about the complete destruction of almost the entire RDC by publishing a video of Russian soldiers captured on Russian territory.
