Radically new design, but no improved camera: details about the iPhone 17 are out

The iPhone 16 smartphones are still considered a novelty, but Apple fans are already discussing what kind of gadgets the company will present next year. And some details are already starting to emerge.

Thus, the author of the AppleTrack YouTube channel said in a new video that the next generation of gadgets will have a significantly updated design. The main feature will be an ultra-thin body. That's why the model is likely to be called the iPhone 17 Air. At least that's the unofficial name it has now.

The novelty will have not one camera, as previously reported, but two, the blogger said. In addition, the lenses will be horizontal, as in the iPhone 7/8 Plus models. However, their location will change. They will not be in the corner but in the center of the case.

The disadvantage of the model will be rather simple cameras. After all, the thin body will not be able to accommodate advanced devices for shooting. Because of this, the iPhone 17 Air will not be able to boast of optical zoom.

As for the more standard models, they will not have a radically updated design, but we should expect some technical improvements from them. For example, insiders hint at the appearance of a 90-Hertz screen in the younger models and a completely new 48-megapixel TV camera with a periscopic lens.
