The inexpensive 2024 Nissan Rogue crossover, which is known to Ukrainians and Europeans as the Nissan X-Trail, is the Japanese company's most popular car. Soon this model will become more fuel-efficient and powerful due to a new modification.
The details were reported by Car and Driver. Recently, the Mitsubishi Outlander crossover has been modernized and received a powerful plug-in hybrid version. Nissan uses these developments in its car.
The Mitsubishi Outlander is the closest relative of the Nissan Rogue and its European twin, the Nissan X-Trail. In the new hybrid modification, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV offers 302 hp and an electric range of more than 80 km. Combined fuel consumption is expected to reach 0.8 l/100 km.
This technical transformation is very important for the Nissan model. The company really needs this Rogue hybrid crossover in the US market, where sales of the model are sagging due to the lack of a hybrid variant in the lineup - buyers tend to choose other brands.
